BERLIN, GERMANY – PCB and semiconductor chemistry developer Atotech is up for sale, and Umicore and Sinochem are reportedly among interested groups.

Atotech’s parent company Total has asked for preliminary bids by Tuesday and expects to receive more than $3.3 billion for the unit, according to reports.

Atotech has annual sales of about $1 billion. The firm is expected to generate EBITDA of $274.6 million in 2016, and Total says it won’t accept offers below 12 times that figure.
