TORONTO -- Firan Technology Group named Robert Beutel chairman, superseding Ray Harris, who resigned after 19 years but will remain a member of the board.

Harris will also remain chair of the board's audit committee, FTG said.

Beutel is chairman of Oakwest Corp. and has served on a number of other public company boards. He has been a director of FTG since 2011.
