TAIPEI – Global all-in-one PC shipments dropped 4.8% year-over-year to 12.1 million units in 2016, the third consecutive year of declines, according to Digitimes Research.

The research firm expects shipments to grow 1.5% in 2017 compared to last year.

The market share of all-in-one PCs for global desktop shipments increased one percentage point year-over-year from to 10.4% in 2016.
Desktop shipments decreased 5.3% to 116.8 million units.

Total all-in-one PC shipments are expected to rise to 10.9% this year, with global desktop shipments experiencing a 3% decline to 113.3 million units. In 2018, the percentage is expected to surpass 11%.
