SAN JOSE, CA – The worldwide 90-day moving average orders at North America-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers rose 10% year-over-year in June.

Orders were up 4.3% sequentially to $1.47 billion, says SEMI. Bookings reached their highest mark since May 2012.

The book-to-bill ratio was 1.09. A book-to-bill of 1.09 means $109 worth of orders was received for every $100 of product billed for the month.

The three-month average of worldwide billings in June was $1.34 billion, up 10.4% year-over-year, and down 4.8% sequentially.
