NORTHBROOK, IL -- The market for printed circuit boards built for automotive applications is projected to grow to $12.43 billion by 2025, a new report says.

The market was $8.21 billion in 2017, which comes to a CAGR of 5.33% over the forecast period, MarketsandMarkets says.

The firm cites implementation of basic safety systems such as ABS, anti-lock braking systems, TPMS and electronic stability programs, along with rising demand for advanced cockpit electronics and advanced telematics. Growth can also be attributed to the increasing demand for BEVs and PHEVs, which have more electronic components than conventional ICE vehicles.
