SAN JOSE, CA – The 90-day moving average orders at North America-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers rose 5.9% year-over-year in March, the SEMI trade group announced.

March orders were $1.37 billion worldwide, up 4.6% sequentially.

The book-to-bill ratio was 1.10, which means $110 worth of orders was received for every $100 of product billed for the month.

The three-month average worldwide billings was $1.25 billion for the month, up 1.9% year-over-year and down 2.4% sequentially.
