CHARLOTTE, NCCamstar Systems Inc. has acquired software firm SigmaQuest for an undisclosed amount.

Camstar expects the acquisition to increase revenue 30% in 2011.

The firm will merge SigmaQuest’s products with its software line by the end of 2010.

SigmaQuest’s staff in Sunnyvale, CA will move to Camstar’s office in San Jose.

Camstar produces software for solar manufacturing, medical devices, biotech, electronics and semiconductors. SigmaQuest’s software supports solar, electronics and medical-device industries, as well as aerospace, defense and telecom.

SAN JOSE -- Flextronics, the world's second-largest contract electronics manufacturer, said fiscal first-quarter net income was $118.2 million, up from a loss of $154 million last year.
