ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- Chicago area PCB fabricator and assembler Imagineering has been named recipient of the Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business 2014 Illinois Family Entrepreneurship Award. 

"We take pride in accepting this award on behalf of our customers and vendor partners. As without your support this would not have been possible," Imagineering said in a press release.

The Loyola award recognizes family businesses that demonstrate a strong commitment to both business and family, multi-generational family business involvement, contributions to industry and community, and innovative business practices and strategies, among other criteria.

"Over the past 27 years our aggressive turnaround and pricing have become industry standards," Imagineering said. "Our commitment to our customers and constant awareness of high standards in service and quality has brought about a steady growth. Today, we can proudly say that our first customer is still with us."

Imagineering has also beem named a finalist for the Community Service Illinois Family Business of the Year Award.

CEO Parvin Dhanji was chairperson for the Aga Khan Foundation USA Midwest, an organization that addresses root causes of poverty by supporting and sharing innovative solutions in the areas of health, education, rural development, civil society, and the environment. Dhanji was also chairperson for the Conciliation and Arbitration Board, for which she did pro-bono mediation in the fields of family, personal, marriage, and business mediation. She is also on boards for Apna Ghar and The Children’s Foundation and was vice president of The Midwest Business Association.
