BERNECK, SWITZERLAND -- Optiprint is investing 8.5 million euros ($11.2 million) to upgrade its factory here. The site, when complete, will become the Swiss board fabricator's new headquarters.

Optiprint in January broke ground on a 21,500 sq. ft., six- to nine-month expansion to the site. The plant will then become Optiprint's headquarters, replacing its current HQ in Rehetobel.

Optiprint is adding an LDI, a multilayer lamination press, and a horizontal innerlayer bonder, among other equipment upgrades.

The company has posted a video of its progress on its website.
