TOKYO -- Zuken reported fiscal third quarter revenue rose 12.7% year-over-year on higher demand for software for printed circuit board design and wiring harness.

For the period ended Dec. 31, revenue was Y5.72 million ($52 million), versus Y5.075 million in the December 2016 quarter. Operating profit was Y773 million, up from Y393 million a year ago.

Year to date revenue is up 8% year-over-year to Y16.2 million ($148 million).

The firm expects full-year revenue of Y24 million ($220 million), up 8.1% from fiscal 2016. It expects operating profit of Y1.9 million.
