NUREMBERG, GERMANY – Computer Simulation Technology (CST) will host the CST Modeling Challenge at European Microwave Week.

The challenge will be to model an iris waveguide filter, simulate it, and adjust the iris opening to tune the filter to the desired frequency. The competition will use CST Studio Suite Student Edition, a free version of CST’s simulation software.

The competition is open to both simulation users and those without past experience of EM simulation and CST Studio Suite, and CST staff will be on hand to help beginners with the software.

All successful participants will be entered into a drawing. The drawing will be held Oct. 11.

CST Studio Suite Student Edition can be downloaded at www.cst.com/eumw-2017.
