Semi Equipment Bookings Spike in Q3 Print E-mail

SAN JOSE — Worldwide semiconductor manufacturing equipment billings reached $7.65 billion in the third quarter, down 16% from last year. Sales were up 1% from the second quarter, says SEMI, based on data from over 100 global equipment companies.

SEMI reports that worldwide semiconductor equipment bookings were $8.95 billion in the third quarter, up 33% from a year ago and down 2% sequentially.
