WILSONVILLE, OH– Mentor Graphics Corporation has finalized the acquisition of Flomerics Group PLC., located in the United Kingdom.

The company will become Mentor’s Mechanical Analysis Division. Gary Carter, former CEO of Flomerics, will oversee operations as general manager.

The purchase brings Mentor’s product line into the engineering fluid dynamics market (EFD) for CAD analysis. The company hopes to improve its customer base in both mechanical design and electronics cooling markets.
