GELDERN, GERMANY -- Ruwel has invested hundreds of thousands of euros in a large-scale photovoltaic installation, taking up some 3000 sq. m of its roof.

The installation cost some 600,000 euros and includes 1790 photovoltaic modules. The installation has an output of roughly 411 kWp and will reduce CO2 emissions by 330 tonnes per year, Ruwel said. The 22 inverters came from Ruwel customer SMA.

Ruwel is a leading printed circuit board manufacturer of renewable energy generation products.
