MIGDAL HAEMEK, ISRAEL -- AOI maker Camtek today reported second-quarter revenues slid 13% year-over-year to $25 million.

Sales were up 38% sequentially for the quarter ended June 30. Gross margin rose 620 basis points to 48.2%. Net income was $2.3 million, up from $2.2 million last year and up from a net loss of $1.4 million in the prior quarter.

Camtek guided for third-quarter revenues of $23 million to $25 million.

The company designs and makes printed circuit board and semiconductor inspection equipment.
