Elco Buys PCB Ramaer, Extends European Footprint | Print |  E-mail

CARSOLI, ITALY -- Elco Group has acquired fellow PCB fabricator PCB Ramaer for an undisclosed sum. The deal includes PCB Ramaer's factory in Helmond, The Netherlands, and about 100 employees.

 

 

Elco has three fabrication sites in Italy, France and China, and since late 2011 has been backed Fondo Italiano di InvestimentoElco has more than doubled its turnover, to about €25 million, since Fondo Italiano invested €5 million in exchange for a minority stake.

The acquisition expands Elco's footprint in northern Europe. Both companies will continue to operate under their existing brands, Elco said.

The combined group expects annual sales of around €45 million and to employ around 450 staff across Italy, France, Spain, Holland and China.

PCB Ramaer was founded in 1961 and has annual sales of €20 million.
