MARLBORO, MA -- Downstream Technologies has launched the second free IPC-2581 viewer on the market, aiding the implementation of the design data transfer format. The new IPC-2581 data viewer, Vu2581, is available for download at www.downstreamtech.com. A little over a week ago, Wise Solutions launched its WISE-2581 Viewer. In many cases the free viewers are also available from the IPC-2581 Consortium website. At least two other EDA software companies -- Adiva and EasyLogix -- are working on viewers for IPC-2581 as well.
