MANCHESTER, NH – EPTAC Corp. has joined forces with five new IPC Design Certification instructors to provide certification training in North America. This arrangement teams the training center with a highly skilled group of instructors for the IPC CID and CID+ level programs.

Led by Gary Ferrari, president of FTS, the group has more than 100 years of aggregate experience providing design for manufacturing guidance to designers and printed circuit board manufacturers. Others in the group include Paul Fleming, Cheri Litson, Olga Scheglov and Glenn Wells.

“We are very excited to be working with EPTAC Corporation and the marriage of our combined reputations in the market, to support and deliver programs that advance the skills of PCB designers everywhere,” noted Gary Ferrari, President of FTS.

“As a longstanding provider of IPC certifications and electronics training products, we see this as a perfect fit,” said Mark Pilkington, president of EPTAC. “We have enjoyed working with Gary in the past and look forward to the process of expanding the IPC Designer Certification offerings with this new group of instructors, to customers looking to sharpen their skills and technical background.”

Ferrari and Wells teamed with EPTAC last fall to offer CID and CID+ training at PCB West, and the center plans to offer the same programs again at this year's conference in September, at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center.
