Mentor Names Semi Exec Helton to Run Japan Ops Print E-mail

WILSONVILLE, OR -- Mentor Graphics has named Greg Helton president and managing director for its Japan subsidiary.

Helton has spent 26 years in the semiconductor industry, with executive responsibilities in marketing, sales, and general management. He has spent the last 14 years as a resident of Japan.

Prior to joining Mentor, Helton was MD and president of Aptina Imaging Japan, and also had stints as corporate VP of Fairchild Semiconductor, president and MD of Fairchild Semiconductor Japan, corporate VP at LSI Logic and president of LSI Logic Japan. Earlier, in his career, he held senior management positions at VLSI Technology and National Semiconductor.
