SANTA CLARA, CA – A series of video interviews with some of the top names in the PCB design and fabrication field conducted this week during the PCB West trade show are now online.
In one interview, Rick Hartley, a high-speed design expert, comments on the high increase in IC output rise times, which creates unanticipated problems. One company he worked with – a dishwasher OEM – had a 500-MHz EMI problem, he noted. “If you haven’t seen problems, you will,” he said.
Interviews with EMS and design firm NBS Design and PCB fabricator Sierra Circuits, at which plant visits took place during the week, also are on tap.
