PCB West 2008 Exhibits Offer Wide Visitor Appeal

SANTA CLARA, CA – The PCB West 2008 exhibits opened Tuesday at the Santa Clara Marriott convention center. Exhibitors spanned the PCB supply chain, from design tool vendors like EMA, Intercept and Mentor Graphics, to laminate material suppliers like Oak-Mitsui and Taconic. A good number of PCB fabricators, assembler and bare board distributors are also featured. Some of the new products seen at the show can be found at pcdandf.com/cms/content/category/17/218/221/. You can see video coverage of the PCB West events at http://www.pcbwest.com/upstudio/. The show hours on Wednesday September 17^th are from 10 am to 3 pm. Following the close of the show there will be a site tour of the NBS facility that houses state-of-the-art placement machines, test equipment and PCB layout capabilities.

SX45 Stereo Zoom Microscope

Vision Engineering introduces the SX45 stereo zoom microscope. Although it is affordable, it maintains a high level of optical performance. It has a zoom ratio of 6.3:1 and a magnification of x50.

A digital or USB camera can be used simultaneously, and a trinocular viewing attachment is available.
