GELDERN, GERMANY and BANGALORE, INDIA - RUWEL GmbH has announced the acquisition of Naavinya CAD Soft Ltd. (NCS) in Bangalore.

This facility will be used to supply small and medium production for industrial electronics, medical technology and mechanical engineering.

The company has also announced that manufacturing of its existing products will be transfered and consolidated in specific locations. The company’s Grassau facility, to be operated by Lamitec-Dielektra GmbH, will concentrate on thick-copper circuit PCBs used in automobile electronics and photovoltaics manufacturing, while multilayer boards will continue to be produced at the Geldern plant.

Standard multilayer production orders will also be transferred from the Grassau to the Geldern locations.

Ruwel GmbH will continue to focus on two business segments: the production of high-tech multilayer PCBs at their production sites in Geldern and Pfullingen, and special technology PCBs in their Wetter plant.
