ESO Luxco I to Acquire Mania Outsourcing Business |

LUXEMBOURG -- ESO Luxco I will acquire some of the Mania Technologie AG, Mania Deutschland GmbH and Mania Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH businesses.
ESO has entered into an agreement with the Administrators of Mania Technologie AG, Mania Deutschland GmbH and Mania Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH to acquire the Outsourcing Business of the Mania Group, as well as selected parts of the Production Systems Business. The acquisition covers the Outsourcing Business units in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Taiwan, China and Singapore.
ESO is an alternative asset investment fund focused on turnaround and technology investments. ESO will also acquire the Software and Plotter Businesses of Mania Belgium NV as well as other assets of Mania. According to ESO the purchase will secure over 500 jobs within the new group.
Through the purchase Mania Belgium NV, ESO will acquire the Software Business that is complementary to the Outsourcing Business. ESO will further develop and maintain the UCAM Software that is part of the Outsourcing Business. The Plotter Business will be continued as a stand-alone business.
