Cisco seeks a PCB Sourcing Commodity Manager to focus on development and execution of commodity strategy and associated programs. The ideal candidate possesses a combination of business experience, technical knowledge, and strong interpersonal communication and relationship management skills. This position is a great opportunity for someone with technical experience and business acumen to become involved with all levels of business operation-from day-to-day tactical activity to long-term strategy and planning.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Provide special knowledge or capability
  • Ensure budgets, schedules and program requirements are met
  • Responsible for sourcing of all new PCB programs, risk assessment and alternatives
  • Define and sets strategic direction
  • Contribute to development of commodity strategy
  • Oversee the largest, most complex programs consisting of multiple locations and BU's
  • Determine manufacturing requirements and specifications; create proposals and works with Manager to finalize agreements
  • Resolve large-scale project issues and manages appropriate escalation within Cisco as necessary

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent plus 6+ years manufacturing experience
  • Strong Printed Circuit Board industry knowledge required
  • Extensive business strategy knowledge and implementation knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Previous New Product Introduction experience

Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Technical or MS degree preferred
  • APICS/NAPM Certification preferred
  • Significant and diverse management experience preferred
  • Line card experience desired
  • Experience with advanced technology cards preferred
