The Fischerscope XDV-SD is an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer that the company states has been developed for analyses and assay determination of gold and other precious metals. Claimed short measurement times with high X-Ray intensity are produced using a digital pulse processor. Different shaped samples and precious metal coatings can be analyzed for up to 24 different elements, thickness and concentration, and all data can reportedly be obtained with one measurement.
