Arlon has released CLTE-XT Microwave Laminate for phase, dielectric constant and temperature sensitive applications. The company claims the product has a "best-in-class" insertion loss (S21) and loss langent (0.0012 at 10GHz). The product reportedly has a low CTExyz and the TCEr (dielectric constant stability across temperature) for applications that require electrical phase stability, dielectric constant stability, and mechanical stability over a -55°C to 150°C operating temperature. The product has claimed dimensional stability, low moisture and chemical absorption, ease of process and registration consistency. Applications include avionics, military and space electronics.
