Viasystems Expands PCB Operations in China |

ST. LOUIS, MO - Viasystems, Inc. has announced plans to invest approximately $40 million to $45 million in its Zhongshan, China PCB operation, to increase production capacity and capabilities. The expansion plan will be completed over an 18-month period. It will include the construction of a 300,000 square foot building and the purchase of PCB production equipment. “This expansion of our capacity and manufacturing capabilities in Zhongshan is in response to the increasing demands of our customers,” said David Sindelar, CEO. “As a result of these capital investments, we will increase our Zhongshan production capacity by approximately 60%.” |
