Altium Releases Innovation Station |

SANTA CLARA, CA – Altium Limited
has released Innovation Station that combines the latest version of
Altium Designer with the newly-extended Altium NanoBoard range of
reconfigurable hardware platforms.
According to Altium, the new tool allows designers to work in the soft
domain, without having to pre-determine the hardware platform on which
the product will be delivered. The design tool coupled with the reconfigurable hardware development platform provides a unified design environment. Testing, analysis and debugging also use the integrated hardware development platform.
Altium
commented that this new system makes it easier to protect design IP and
it offers the ability to work the soft design elements before, during
and even after the hardware has been manufactured and is in place
with the end customer.
According to Altium
CEO Nick Martin, “This new approach puts the design of the soft
elements of an electronic system first and at the center of the whole
design process.” |
