North American PCB Book-To-Bill Ratio Up |

Industry sources report that the December PCB book-to-bill ratio for
North America was 1.01, the ninth straight month that the ratio was
1.00 or higher.
A ratio of 1.01 means that for every $100 of boards shipped in
December, suppliers got $101 in new orders. A ratio of 1.00 or higher
indicates that PCB demand is higher than supply, which forcasts
increased sales growth in the coming months.
Sources report that Rigid PCB bookings were up 6.8%, with a
book-to-bill ratio at 1.01, while Flex Circuit shipments were up 1% in
December, with a ratio at an even 1.0. |
