HUTCHINSON,
MN - Hutchinson Technology reported first quarter 2008 results, with revenue of
$173 Million and earnings per share (EPS) of $0.14, down 7% quarter over
quarter, with revenue hurt by desktop share losses and some orders being pulled
into the September quarter, resulting in lower December sales.
Management
blamed some of the weak first quarter results on the pull-in of roughly 10 million
units into the September quarter, but adjusting for this units were
still down 2% quarter over quarter. |
