Taiwan - Printed circuit board (PCB) maker Yeu Hwan Technology
anticipates improvements in flexible printed circuit board (FPCB)
demand and increased utilization rates, according to the company.
As reported by EMS Now, despite the first quarter being traditionally
slow for FPCBs, Yeu Hwan said its orders would remain at or above
levels established in the fourth quarter of 2007. The company stated
its confidence that the overall FPCB utilization rate will grow from
40-50% in 2007 to 70% in 2008, prompting an optimistic outlook for
sales prospects in 2008. |
