Aspocomp Names Hantila CEO |

HELSINKI – Aspocomp Group Oyj, struggling to cope with weakened demand for its printed circuit boards, today named Isto Hantila chief executive, effective immediately.
He replaces Maija-Liisa Friman, who resigned but will remain in an advisory role.
Hantila is chairman of Efore Plc and Selmic Oy, and has master’s in science.
Provided agreements with Meadville Holdings Ltd. are carried out, most of Aspocomp's business will be transferred to the joint venture owned by Aspocomp and Meadville. Consequently, Hantila's primary task will be to plan and complete related structural changes in the Aspocomp Group.
