Investor Opposes Aspocomp Merger

HELSINKI – Sampo Bank opposes the planned merger of subsidiary PCB maker Aspocomp Oy with its parent company, a merger decided on in May by the board of Aspocomp Group Oyj. Aspocomp will consider available options, the company reports. The planned registration date for the merger was Sept. 30. Sampo Life Insurance Co. owns a roughly 4% stake in Aspocomp Group Oyj, down from more than 10% earlier this year. Sampo Life is part of the same group as Sampo Bank.

SX45 Stereo Zoom Microscope

Vision Engineering introduces the SX45 stereo zoom microscope. Although it is affordable, it maintains a high level of optical performance. It has a zoom ratio of 6.3:1 and a magnification of x50.

A digital or USB camera can be used simultaneously, and a trinocular viewing attachment is available. Users can choose from numerous standard options, such as the bench stand, the boom mount and the articulated arm.
