YAVNE, Israel – Valor Computerized Systems reported its financial results for the period ending March 31, 2007.
Revenues in the first quarter of 2007 were $10.3 million, an increase of 23% compared to $8.4 million in the first quarter of 2006. The net profit in 2007 Q1 was $1 million, an increase of 34% as compared to the first quarter last year.
EBITDA was $1.3 million in the first quarter of 2007 – an increase of 73% as compared to $725,000 in the first quarter of 2006. EBIT was $863,000 in the first quarter of 2007 – 51% more than in the first quarter of 2006 at $571,000.
"Valor has seen another quarter of record revenues in Q1-2007,” said Ofer Shofman, Valor’s president and CEO. “During the quarter we successfully launched three new products: vPlan, a comprehensive solution for process engineering that has already won awards for innovation; vSure, a clever quality management system, and vManage – a complete shop-floor control and material management solution. All three products were developed specifically for the electronics manufacturing industry, which makes them unique in that sense and gives them a significant advantage over competitive generic products.”
Shofman added, "The combination of vPlan, vManage and vSure, together with another product which is currently under work, makes up a best-of-breed Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the electronics industry. This system covers the entire manufacturing process and beyond and offers manufacturers unprecedented capabilities to increase their operational efficiency and profitability. We are already seeing a lot of excitement in the market over these products."
