ANAHEIM, CA – DDi Corp.’s Anaheim operation has been awarded AS9100 certification, an internationally recognized aerospace industry standard for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.
Introduced in the U.S. by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Aerospace Standards (AS) 9100 standardizes, to the maximum extent possible, the quality system requirements of the aerospace industry. Standardization of such requirements can result in cost savings due to the elimination or reduction of unique requirements developed for each different customer.
"Our Anaheim facility achieved certification following an extensive audit and meeting a rigorous set of industry-specific requirements," states Mikel Williams, president and CEO of DDi Corp. "Receiving AS9100 certification provides external validation of our quality management system and further enhances our competitive position in the aerospace market. Further, this qualification is a part of our company-wide efforts to extend our quality standards, certifications and customer focus to better service the defense/military and aerospace market’s requirements.”
