PCB West 2007 Announces the "FREE Tuesday" Event Lineup

ATLANTA – UP Media Group Inc. is pleased to announce this year’s "FREE Tuesday" program of events at PCB Design Conference West 2007. The premier conference and exhibition for PCB engineering, design and manufacture professionals, PCB West 2007 is scheduled for March 25-30 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.
Held last year for the first time, "FREE Tuesday" was well attended and proved to be extremely popular with attendees and exhibitors alike. This year, "FREE Tuesday" will consist of a variety of educational and networking events that will begin at 8 am and end at 11 pm on Tuesday, March 27.
The day will begin with a keynote address presented by Henry Potts, vice president and general manager of the Systems Design Division at Mentor Graphics Corp. Potts’ keynote, titled "Cross Currents: Where PCB Design Meets ICs and Hardware," will be held from 8 – 9 am in the SCCC Theater.
From 9 am – 12 pm, PCB West 2007 attendees will soak up tons of useful information provided by 13 free technical sessions. These sessions are open to all PCB West conference, exhibits-only, speaker and exhibitor badge holders. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The current technical session line-up is as follows:

For session times, abstracts and speakers, visit www.pcbwest.com. "FREE Tuesday" will continue as the two-day product and service exhibition begins. The show floor will be open from 12 pm – 7 pm. Several free exhibitor presentations will be held throughout the afternoon on the show floor. An updated list of Exhibitor Presentation will be posted online at www.pcbwest.com as presentations are scheduled with exhibitors.
"FREE Tuesday" will conclude with the Opening Night Networking Extravaganza, which boasts a full evening of networking opportunities. These include: Happy Hour on the show floor from 6 – 7 pm; Casino Night from 8 – 11 pm; and the Dawg House Lounge from 8 – 11 pm.
PCB West 2007 also features a weeklong conference that runs from March 25-30. It includes a Professional Development Certificate Program of in-depth two-day and one-day tutorials, and a three-day Technical Conference of over 26 short courses. With a low profile, the screw-machined system is well suited for numerous high reliability applications, such as providing power to tunable lasers.
