LAS VEGAS, NV and BOSTON – Direct Logix Inc. and the AberdeenGroup have partnered on a survey campaign within the EDA end-user community to gather information on the current use and expectations of software assisted engineering products. According to a news release, the purpose of this survey is to understand how end users are utilizing the available software in their designs, and to discover whether the tools are available to them to meet their needs.
As design complexity increases, more and more companies are relying more heavily on the EDA industry to provide tools that will enable them to design these products in a faster and more cost efficient manner. The results of this end-user survey will be gathered and formulated into a report to be issued by the AberdeenGroup in late January.
