MUNICH, Germany and WESTFORD, MA – Zuken has launched Circuit Adviser to the western market for systematically checking errors in a schematic. It reportedly helps identify design problems early in the development cycle for improving quality and eliminating the requirement to re-run design cycles. According to a press release, Circuit Adviser is a module created to find hidden electrical problems in the schematic design held within CR-5000 System Designer using predefined electrical rules set by the library administrator. It is an add-on solution that is fully integrated with the CR-5000 enterprise wide design environment. Circuit Adviser is said to perform eight different electrical rule checks including voltage rating and ground supply polarity. It allegedly supports verification of design variants and provides a full quality rule check report.
