YAVNE, ISRAEL, Nov. 2, 2004 - Valor Computerized Systems reports
an improvement in its revenue and profit line for the third quarter of
2004. Revenue increased in the reporting period to $7.8 million in
comparison to $6.35 million achieved in Q3 of 2003 equaling a rise of
23%.
Net profit results for Q3 2004 reached
$400,000 as compared to $850,000 achieved for the same quarter of
previous year. The decrease in net profit stems from the large increase
in R and D investments targeted at new product developments. EBIT was
$340,000 in comparison to $630,000 generated in Q3 2003.
R and D expenses for Q3 2004
increased by 25% to $2.4 million as compared to Q3 2003 and increased
by 38% to $7.6 million for this year's nine months period compared to
the nine months reporting period of 2003.
