The nonexclusive agreement calls for Trilogic to market DOCTAR software to Mentor and Pads users in the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
The software compares PCB design databases and netlists and reports
changes. It is used for hardware design reviews, documenting ECOs and
validating designs migrated from one CAD system to another.
"Trilogic has a very long and very strong presence throughout New
England and the mid-Atlantic regions, particularly with Mentor and PADS
PowerPCB users," said Michael Shannon, Cadalist president and CTO, in a
press statement. "We are thrilled to work with Trilogic to introduce
the DOCTAR design data management tool to many more engineers."
DOCTAR supports Allegro, Cadence, GenCAD,
Mentor, Orcad, P-CAD, Pads, PowerPCB, Viewlogic and other CAD input
file formats. Evaluation copies are available for download.
