PITTSBURGH, March 26 -- A new component library of capacitors and inductors for use within Ansoft Corp.'s high-frequency circuit simulation tool was released today.
Murata Manufacturing Co. said that providing a
design kit for Ansoft Designer "will ensure that our current and future
customers will have the necessary elements to develop the next
generation of ultra-miniature telecommunication products with greater
accuracy."
The device library contains proprietary equivalent simulation models
of Murata's discrete capacitors and coil inductors, for use in
general-purpose high-frequency designs. The devices are used in RF
circuits and subsystems found in many commercial and military
applications, the companies said.
The library includes vendor-authorized device models directly
as ready-to-use components, which is said to improve accuracy.
The library is available for free (click here).
