ASHUA, NH, March 9, 2004 - OHIO Design Automation Inc.
has integrated its InterComm 5.1 collaboration groupware with Cadence's
new Allegro system interconnect design platform. OHIO Design said in a
release that it now provides Cadence users with full bi-directional
integration with InterComm, which allows enterprise-wide sharing,
reviewing, annotating and verifying of electronic design intent.
EDAconduit, a new add-on module for
InterComm 5.1, eliminates manual file extraction steps with an
automated bi-directional link between Cadence Allegro and InterComm
5.1. EDAconduit is also capable of back-annotating InterComm red-line
markups into Allegro layout and schematic tools. EDAconduit enables
direct cross-highlighting of any EDA data captured in InterComm with
the Cadence authoring tools.
"Combining OHIO-DA's InterComm with
Cadence's co-design platform enables the entire product team to refine
their design review process," said John Lane, president and CEO of OHIO
Design. "The product team will be able to access EDA information at
light speed, improving their cycle times by as much as 33%."
